USS CONSTITUTION Museum

Want to learn more about the world’s oldest commissioned warship still afloat? Come visit the USS Constitution Museum during Boston Harborfest!

The Museum features interactive programs and exhibits that are perfect for all ages and will be open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the summer. Visitors can also enjoy a round of mini golf, available daily. It’s a fun, hands-on way for families, friends, and Harborfest visitors of all ages to add a little play to their visit while exploring the stories of “Old Ironsides”. On July 4, the Museum will host a Navy Yard Party with family-friendly programming and live music. Stay tuned for more details as we approach July!

Tours highlights the revolutionary history that took place at 11 of the historic sites of the Freedom Trail, including Boston Common, Massachusetts State House, Park Street Church, Granary Burying Ground, King’s Chapel, Site of the first Public School, Old Corner Bookstore, Old South Meeting House, Old State House, site of the Boston Massacre, and Faneuil Hall.  Begins at the Boston Common Visitor Information Center and concludes at Faneuil Hall or begins at Faneuil Hall ArtsBoston Booth and concludes at Boston Common.

Freedom Trail® tours led by 18th-century costumed guides.

This tour highlights the revolutionary history that took place along the Freedom Trail in the North End including the Paul Revere House, Old North Church and Copp’s Hill Burying Ground.  The tour may be taken as a standalone tour or as an extension to the Walk Into History Tour. Begins at Faneuil Hall ArtsBoston Booth and concludes at Copp’s Hill Burying Ground.

Book Talk & Signing with Tad Stoermer

Join us at the Old North Church for the release of public historian Tad Stoermer’s new book, A Resistance History of the United States. Tad will be joined by Prof. Vincent Brown of Harvard University to discuss the role resistance movements throughout U.S. history have played in shaping our country. Following the talk, Tad will be available to answer questions and sign copies of his book.

Copies of A Resistance History of the United States will be available to purchase onsite. Doors will open at 6pm, and the talk will start at 6:30pm.
